Learning Studios offers several options to ensure that you get the most out of your LMS at the price you can afford. Learning Management Systems are difficult for most organizations to install and maintain without expert help. There are several alternatives to choose from when considering this installation. Learning Studios offers the delivery of LMS services On-Site or Off-Site.
On-Site Installation of an LMS at a client’s place of business is an option for those that need the maximum control of their technical environment. With on-site installations, the responsibility for maintenance and support of the system is most likely internal to the organization. A successful on-site installation requires; a large enough budget to accommodate the high front end costs, approximately two to six months to get up and running, and adequate technical and administrative staff to maintain the LMS.
Off-Site Installations, also referred to as Hosting Services, are best if you are not confident that you will have the necessary budget, time and staff to support a system on-site. In most cases hosting is more cost effective than an On-Site Installation. You get up and running quickly and hosting provides you with a staff of experts whose primary job is to manage and support the LMS. With hosting you can focus on learning and not the technology! Learning Studios offers hosting two ways; Shared LMS Hosting and Dedicated LMS Hosting.
Shared LMS Hosting: The software and hardware of the LMS is shared with other clients but data and courseware are securely partitioned. This option provides high performance and security at lower costs. This is the best and most cost-effective approach for the majority of clients. Shared systems are ready in one week or less.
Dedicated LMS Hosting: The software and hardware are for the use of a single client and resources are not shared among multiple clients. This approach is ideal for those servicing thousands of users with high bandwidth content. It is also recommended for sites that require significant customization or integration.
